Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

In order to address their unique economic and employment needs, provinces and territories are authorised to propose candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

PNP targets businesspeople, graduates from abroad, and talented workforce in high demand occupations. Application process and requirements vary depending on the province.
Alberta, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, and Northwest Territories are the provinces that currently take part in the PNP.

For those who submit an Express Entry Profile, many provinces additionally have their own Express Entry streams that speed up the process and raise your chances of becoming permanent resident of Canada.
