Self-employed Person
To qualify as a self-employed person,
- You must have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics,
Your experience must be, a)2 one-year periods being self-employed in cultural activities or athletics or b)2 one-year periods participating at a world-class level in cultural activities or athletics or combination of a one-year period described in (a), and a one-year period described in (b)
- Intention and ability to become self-employed in Canada.
- Score at least 35 points on a selection grid which is based on experience, education, language skills, age and adaptability.
- Have medical exam and police certificate.
- Prove that you have enough funds to support yourself and your family after you come to Canada.
